We are looking for a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our Purchasing Department. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our purchasing processes and administrative tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in the purchasing of materials and services for company projects.
Manage inventory and maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
Use Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for data entry and to maintain up-to-date records.
Prepare reports and documents using Microsoft Word and Google Docs.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and responding to emails.
Support the Purchasing Manager with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
